"Stop stressing, start planning.
One of the biggest worries young people face is the future – it’s hard not to get stressed when so much can depend on a grade. I suggest we add a new compulsory element to our education system where all students, across the country are taught about life after school/college.
We will learn fundamental information that will be useful in the future like:
What is student debt?
How do I live independently?
What are tax and mortgages?
How do I cope under stress?
The current curriculum is extensive but flawed in the fact it gives us very few life lessons.
Not only will this give us more clarity for the future, but it should help alleviate the stress in our generation now. This is a mental health epidemic amongst young people today and this is one of the ways we can start to relieve pressure."
