Write for the Movies with Marc Gee

Budding screenwriters can learn from an industry professional at a script writing taster session.

On 16th February Leasowe library will host author and playwright Marc Gee who has previously run writing courses for the British Film Institute, BBC and Wirral Metropolitan College.

The session runs between 10.00am and 12.00pm and is free and open to all members of the public.

Marc Gee has written in diverse genres for stage and screen. He has had plays performed at Liverpool's Everyman theatre, and at the Edinburgh festival.

In 2011 Marc published his first novel, Autumn Kill, chosen as one of Waterstone's top summer reads. He has recently released his second novel, Declaration of Guilt.

Attendees will be able to get advice about structuring and writing their own scripts. Marc will also be answering questions about his novels.
