Wirral Council are developing a long-term plan for local parks, beaches, countryside and open spaces and are asking you to tell us what your local facilities should be like. FREE Football at The Oval There will be FREE organised five-a-side football and football games every day over half-term at The Oval.  Anyone (boys and girls) aged 13-19 is welcome to come along.. Wirral young people are being urged to apply for a place on the National Citizen Service which will give up to 30,000 16-year-olds around the UK the chance to learn new skills and get involved in their community this year. The scheme gives school leavers a chance to do something different and challenging while learning new skills, and incorporates two residential stays involving outdoor activities such as mountaineering, canoeing and abseiling. If you are not in education, employment or training, Wirral Met are running a new 6-week Aventure Zone course for young people age 16-18. The next course starts on Thursday 2nd February 2012.
