In Wallasey and West Kirby....
"Teens to twenties" at West Kirby Children's Centre is on every Thursday from 10am to 11:30 am at West Kirby Children's Centre for young parents under the age of 25 years. The group gives you the opportunity to meet with other mums and dads of a similiar age in a relaxed environment, giving you the opportunity to explore messy play, baby massage, sensory sessions, play sessions, advice & support and much more. The other group is the Young Parents' Group at Mill Lane Fire Station, Wallasey.
This is for young mums or dads with a young child or children (under 5) or if you are expecting a baby. The group is at the community room at Mill Lane Fire Station, Wallasey on a Wednesday from 1-2pm.
It's a free drop-in group (no need to book) and will give you the opportunity to meet other young parents in a relaxed and sociable environment whilst having fun with your little ones. And if you don't feel like going on your own, why not take a friend along with you - everyone is welcome and you don't have to live locally in Wallasey. They have all sorts of activities from music and story-time, healthy eating and simple cooking, picnics and trips, baby massage as well as help with job applications and careers advice and support and advice with health issues and your well-being.
