If behind the scenes is more your thing, every Monday evening from 6 - 9pm, Wirral Youth Theatre & Youth Arts (WYT) run technical workshops.

This is a technical theatre and new media session for young people aged 13-19. In these sessions we will be looking at all aspects of the backstage and technical theatre. You will be working with theatre and gig lighting, projections and sound, recording of music and film, setting up equipment for live sound gigs and filming & editing. You will be using up to date equipment from lighting boards to digital cameras. This session is £1 each week but the first session is FREE!

Several young people who have attended these sessions have gone on to pursue succesful careers in technical theatre.
